B&C Morning Show: Jerry Updates; Will A-Rod Remain Focused Throughout Game 3?
Jerry Recco's first update began with a preview of tonight's ALCS Game 3 between the Yankees and the Tigers in Detroit. Down 2-0, the Yankees will give the ball to Phil Hughes, with the hopes he can hang in there against Tigers ace Justin Verlander.
At this point in the game, the Yankees and their fans have no choice but to believe. Eventually Jerry's preview turned into more chatter about reports that Alex Rodriguez was trying to pick up women from the Yankees' dugout following his removal from Game 1. Yeah, that allegedly happened.
Plus, over in the NLCS, the Giants evened things up with the Cardinals with a 7-1 win - tying the series at one game apiece, Peyton Manning goes crazy in the second half against the Chargers, leading the Broncos to a 35-24 win, after predicting a Jets' win over the Patriots in New England, 'fat' Rex Ryan is back -- says Craig -- which is not necessarily a good thing, and the Baltimore Ravens lose Ray Lewis (torn bicep) and Lardarius Webb (ACL) for the season...
