B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco's Update Interrupted
As is usually the case, Jerry Recco failed to make it through his first update without being interrupted. Today's interruption though, was understandable - which isn't always the case. You see, Jerry began his update with John Sterling's call of Alex Rodriguez's 23rd career Grand Slam, tying him with Lou Gehrig for the most all-time. The record-tying ball was caught by a fan, so Craig decided to play a little game with Jerry & Boomer and had them guess what the 15 year-old Yankee fan did with the souvenir.
From there Jerry filled us all the details from the Yanks 6-4 triumph over the Braves, before moving on to the Mets - who beat down the Rays by a score of 11-2. Chris Young went as hard and as long as he could for the win, while Jordany Valdepsin knocked in 4 runs and proved once again that he is 'the man right now'.
Plus, Kevin Durant and the Thunder take Game 1 of the NBA Finals, beating LeBron James & the Heat 105-94, a brand-new game called 'Spit It Out' makes it's debut and David Diehl issues an apology...
