B&C Morning Show: Jerry Boogies His Way Through An Update
After boldly comparing himself to fictitious movie character 'Dirk Diggler', Jerry Recco went on to begin his update with a story that started quite a firestorm yesterday morning. I'm talking of course about our very own Boomer Esiason, who on Monday's edition of the Morning Extravaganza went on the record saying that he believes the Jets would be better suited without Tim Tebow (and all of the distractions he brings along) in the fold, before taking it a step further and suggesting that they should cut him sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile Craig wished the Jets were still holding their training camp around the corner at Hofstra University, imagining what it might have been like had he and Boomer been able to stop on by yesterday afternoon to say hello???
Craig then used his platform to have some fun at the expense those who decided to spew venom in the direction of Boomer the last 24 hours, before using his 'lowest common denominator' theory in relation to Tebow's ability and worth on the football field. Preach on Brother Craig!!!
In other Jets news, a scuffle broke out during practice yesterday and the team's starting QB, Mark Sanchez, was not happy about it and Aaron Maybin talks some trash to the team's back up signal caller, the aforementioned Tebow.
