B&C Morning Show: Jeremy Gets What He Wants 'Lin' The End - Mets Near The End
Craig began today's radio program on a somewhat somber note, if you're a Mets' fan anyway. After last night's 4-3 loss in Washington, the 'Not So Amazins' 6th straight loss, putting them just one game over the .500 mark at 46-45, Craigie declared the Mets' season to be all but over, calling his 'favorite' team a sinking ship and going as far as to 'apologize' for his clairvoyant thinking.
Boomer fancies himself more of a fan of the Mets than his radio partner, so with that said, he is not ready to give up on Terry Collins' gritty bunch, instead choosing to hold out hope that they will find a way to turn things around.
Moving right along to the 'elephant in the room' that is Jeremy Lin, as there is more fallout from 'Lin-Sanity' relocating to Houston. Craig is frankly tired of talking about it. He believes Lin never wanted to be in New York and is a liar who got what he wanted by spurning the Knicks in favor of the Rockets. One needs to look no further than the 'secret' meeting in Vegas with the Rockets regarding the offer sheet.
Boomer wasn't in total agreement with Craig's assessment; he rarely is. Instead he believes Lin did have a desire to be in New York, just not playing with this current Knicks' cast of characters, from Mike Woodson to Carmelo Anthony, right on down the line.
The Dynamic Radio Duo were in agreement that James Dolan is not too blame for this one, but made it clear that there was plenty of blame to go around...
