B&C Morning Show: Greg Anthony Talks Knicks, NCAAs With Boomer & Craig
CBS Sports and NBA TV analyst Greg Anthony called into the hotline this morning to talk some hoops with Boomer & Craig, beginning with the status of Magic center Dwight Howard, before quickly moving onto the Knicks after Mike D'Antoni abruptly resigned yesterday afternoon.
Anthony said that sometimes a change is needed, which is what the Knicks got. Now the onus falls on the players. He did wonder if this group of players is talented enough to win and believes the next month or so will be very telling. He also pointed out the need for Jeremy Lin to start playing some defense.
Getting back to Howard for a minute, Anthony thinks he will remain with the Magic when the trade deadline passes, but believes it will be a mistake by the franchise if they don't try hard to move him.
As far as the NCAA Tournament, Anthony likes Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Missouri and UNC for his Final Four and discussed the suspension of Syracuse center Fab Melo at length with the guys...
