B&C Morning Show: Giants' Messy Win; Mariano's Historic Save
After losing to the Redskins in Week 1 and with a trip to Philadelphia on the horizon, you could say last night's game against the St. Louis Rams was a must-win for the Giants.
You could say that I suppose - Craig certainly did -- and despite playing a sloppy game, Big Blue emerged with their first win of the season, downing the Rams 28-16.
Earlier Monday, the Yankees were playing a day game in the Bronx against the Twins, a makeup game which drew the smallest crowd in the history of the new stadium. In hindsight it was a shame the crowd was so sparse because history was made when Mariano Rivera closed out his 602nd career save, passing Trevor Hoffman for the most saves of all-time.
So there were two huge topics on the table to open up today's radio program. Boomer & Craig talked about both of them at length before the Blonde Bomber expressed his need for help regarding his Twitter addiction, saying he is out of control.
Luckily for the Booms he has a 'best-friend' like Craigie who is willing to help. If you would like to follow Boomer (and enable his addiction) on Twitter, you can do so by clicking here (@7BOOMERESIASON)...
