B&C Morning Show: Giants-49ers! Time To Get Pumped!

As a football fan and a fan of the show, it just doesn't get any better than this - it's the Football Friday before Championship Weekend!!

When you factor in that the New York Football Giants are one of the four teams that still posses a chance to make it to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, the excitement level goes up even higher.

Boomer & Craig opened up today's Football Friday edition of the Extravaganza with the task to get Giants fans pumped-up and break down their match-up with the 49ers.

Our resident NFL MVP gave us a feel to the mood among the team leading into a Championship game and was pleased to see the weather forecast in San Francisco is not as bad as originally reported.  Boomer went on to really break it down by predicted that 'the better team will win the game.'

Boomer also pointed out the irony that in 'the year of the QB' we could have a Super Bowl that pits Joe Flacco against Alex Smith.  So going into this weekend, we are saddled with the question of whether or not defense will prevail.

Not to take anything away from the defensive unit the Giants will have on the field, it's just that they have that guy named Eli, who has clearly become one of the 'Eli-te' signal callers in the National Football League and the face of Big Blue.

Craig pointed out that the majority of the story lines this week involving the Giants have been 'un-Giant-like' - which he sees as a concern.

In a effort to give his mind a break from all the Giants talk, Craig took his family to see the 'Blue Man Group' last night and was so disappointed and bored that he used the time to 'game-plan'.

While 'game-planning' Craig deduced that the amount of pressure the Giants get on Alex Smith, will go far in determining who will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl - meanwhile the Booms was still preaching about 'ball-security'.

That's 'breakin' it down' folks - which is what we do here...
