B&C Morning Show: Former Mets' Lefty Tom Glavine Calls In
Former Met (and Brave) starting pitcher Tom Glavine is keeping busy since retiring from baseball, but he found some time to call in to talk with Boomer and Craig this morning and have a little fun.
Glavine talked with the guys about how much he is enjoying retirement, but admitted to missing the competitiveness. He commented on the phenomenon that is knuckleballer R.A. Dickey and was asked if he believes the Mets can sustain the success they've had thus far for the remainder of the season. Glavine also fondly reflected on his time in the Big Apple with the Mets and shared what he enjoyed about playing in New York when he was a Brave, which led Craig to extend an invitation to the future Hall of Famer to be his partner for an upcoming round.
Before saying goodbye, Craig was sure to get Glavine's thoughts on the whole Roger Clemens ordeal...
