B&C Morning Show: Eli's Legacy, A Recco Update And Teeth Cleaning

Before Jerry Recco could get to his first update of the morning, Boomer offered a hypothetical scenario where Eli Manning is a two-time Super Bowl Champion, then wondered aloud about Peyton's younger brother's legacy.

From there Jerry got busy, beginning with a cut from Tom Coughlin, who took a break from preparing for the 49ers -- to talk with the media about preparing for the 49ers.  Antrel Rolle is lookin' forward to playing in the Super Bowl, saying the Giants are not going to be denied.  Victor Cruz is confident the Giants are a better team than the one that took the field Week 10 in San Francisco.

Hakeem Nicks refers to a 'Super Dream' and 49ers first year head coach Jim Harbaugh talks about fulfilling expectations.

After losing to the Patriots on Saturday night, Broncos President of Football Operations John Elway shed some light on the future Tim Tebow has calling signals in Denver.

Plus, the Knicks lost to the Magic 102-93 in yesterday's Holiday matinee, and Boomer & Craig had a few things to say about Mike D'Antoni and the  6-7 Knickerbockers.  As for the Nets, they lost in L.A. to the Clippers - who played with out Chris Paul - 101-91 and afterwards Avery Johnson had a tough time finding a silver-lining.  Islanders lost to the Predators 3-1 will skate in Washington tonight, Rangers host the Predators, Devils home for Winnipeg, Yankees re-sign Phil Hughes to a 1-year deal worth $3.2 million and an upset at the Australian Open.

When the long-winded Recco was finally through, Boomer & Craig took a call from Jay in Brooklyn - who took the day off to get his teeth cleaned...
