B&C Morning Show: Eli Grows Up, Boomer Complains & Posada Retires
After a day apart, the Dynamic Radio Duo reunited in the Allstate Studio this morning and there was no denying that it just felt so right.
Boomer & Craig got things started this morning talking about Eli Manning addressing his team yesterday, telling them what to expect heading into the Super Bowl and the circus-like atmosphere that accompanies the big game.
Craig was so proud of Eli, telling Boomer it's like we've watched the 31-year-old signal caller grow up right in front of out eyes and become a man. Boomer felt Craigie was trying to diminish what Eli has become, so he felt the need to offer a few examples of Eli's toughness and he didn't have to look much further than Sunday's game in San Francisco, where the youngest Manning brother took a total of 90 snaps in the 20-17 overtime win.
Boomer was a bit ornery this morning, which Craig was sure to point out. Craig was concerned and asked his radio-partner what was bothering him, which set Boughie Boomer off on a rant about how hard of a day he had yesterday, filming 'Super Bowls' Greatest Commercials 2012' along with his lovely co-host Jillian Michaels - the special will air February 1st on CBS).
Craig poked-fun at Boomer, admitted to having a crush on the hot Jillian Michaels, as for Danika Patrick Craigie is not a big fan. Boomer took issue with Craig's overall assessment of Patrick and then challenged him to get behind the wheel of race-car - stay-tuned...
Showing their versatility, Boomer & Craig transitioned from all of that to the retirement of Jorge Posada and how the nobody does it better than the Yankees...
