B&C Morning Show: Doug Williams And Joe Gibbs With B&C
The MVP of Super Bowl XXII and his former head coach (a three-time SB winner himself) reminisced about their careers.
Boomer was on assignment, so Craig did all the heavy lifting and did a fine job. Doug told the story when a reporter asked him at the Super Bowl how long he has been a black QB. He thought the reporter was nervous and did not take it as a racist comment.
Doug also discusses being the first African American signal-caller to win a SB and what it means to carry that honor.
The legendary Joe Gibbs chatted about his two favorite topics, football & racing. Even though he did not win a SB in his 2nd tenure with the Skins, coach does not regret going back to Washington. He thinks he got the team going in the right direction in those 4 years.
