B&C Morning Show: Dirk's Greatness, LeBron's Charmed Life And A Tear Jerker
The Blonde Bomber was determined to get as much honey in his morning tea as he possibly could.
While Jerry "Rello" Recco was getting started, Boomer squeezed to his little heart's content. Jerry worked through the distraction and went on to deliver a fantastic update, highlighted by the Dallas Mavericks being crowned NBA Champions in South Beach.
We listened to Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd and Mark Cuban following the franchise's first ever title. And then we heard from LeBron James, who seemed okay that the Heat did not win, claiming his life will not be altered after the loss. As for LeBron's teammate Chris Bosh, he was overcome with sadness on his walk to the locker room so he took a knee and wept in the tunnel.
The sight prompted Craig to run down the list of scenarios when it's "okay for men to cry" and he curiously added watching the movie "Rudy" to the list, which is a real "tear jerker" according to Craigie.
We heard all about wins for both the Mets and the Yankees, as well as Derek Jeter's pursuit of 3,000 hits (the Captain is just 7 hits shy)...
