B&C Morning Show: Dirk Nowitzki Takes Mavericks To South Beach, Wins A Championship
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Heat last night in Miami 105-95. By doing so, they captured the franchise's first ever NBA championship. Dirk Nowitzki was named the NBA Finals MVP and LeBron James' image took a huge, huge hit.
According to Craig, LeBron embarrassed himself by not coming up big in the clutch, the self-proclaimed "King" totaled 18 4th quarter points in the 6 games.
Dirk, on the other hand, he totaled 62 total points in the 4th quarter and put himself in elite company by taking home the "Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award."
Meanwhile, LeBron showed his true colors following the game talking about his "charmed life," further alienating himself. Craigie summed it up by saying James is a "choke artist loser," which is really tough to argue. After his performance I think it's safe to say we won't be hearing anymore Michael Jordan comparisons.
On the baseball diamond it was a good weekend for both New York teams, as the Yanks got back on-track after being swept by Boston by beating down the Indians in the Bronx -- and the Mets took a pair from the Pirates in Pittsburgh.
All of that and we celebrate the great Marv Albert turning 70 yesterday on today's edition of the "Morning Extravaganza"...
