B&C Morning Show: Dan Fouts And His Beard Break Down The NFL
Just after 8 a.m., the guys were joined by Dan Fouts and his beard. Like Boomer, Fouts played quarterback in the NFL - only his career culminated with enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but I digress.
These days Fouts can be heard on CBS analyzing games with his broadcast partner Ian Eagle. The duo will be calling the Chiefs-Jets game this Sunday, which is were his conversation with Boomer & Craig began.
Fouts gave his thoughts on Jets QB Mark Sanchez, who he described as 'guarded and focused' - and mentioned the many different things 'The Sanchise' has been forced to deal with in his third year wearing the Green & White. He also warned the Jets to be cautious of Chiefs wide-receiver Dwayne Bowe Sunday, who possesses the all important 'big play ability.'
The guys also touched on a couple of QBs outside of the Tri-State area who are bothy garnering headlines, Aaron Rodgers and Tim Tebow.
As things were winding down, Craig tried to get Mr. Fouts to shave his beard for Sunday's broadcast with the promise of a generous donation to the charity of his choice. He politely declined, citing the cold weather as the reason...
