B&C Morning Show: Coughlin's Breakfast, Eli's Tummy... Must Be A Recco Update

There isn't much left to be said. The Giants and the 49ers will square off Sunday in San Francisco with a chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.  With that said, one might wonder where Jerry Recco would begin his first update of the morning.

Well, right around 6:30 a.m. that burning question was answered when Jerry began with how Tom Coughlin's breakfast went yesterday.  Craig then took it a step further by morphing into the Giants' 65-year-old head coach and talked about his morning routine - which always includes 'the 3 S's.'

We heard from Eli Manning, who after leaving practice early on Wednesday with a stomach bug, took all of the reps in practice and declared himself 100% healthy for Sunday.

Like Coughlin, it sounds as if 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is also a morning person and knows a thing or two about what a red-morning sky can mean for one's day. San Fran LB Patrick Willis talks about the 'sucky' prospects of losing, while Giants safety Deon Grant is not worried about the weather.

Some sad news surrounding former Mets catcher Gary Carter's health, which has has taken a turn for the worse, as more tumors have been found on his brain and now a decision has to be made on whether or not to continue treatments....
