B&C Morning Show: Chris Carrino Brings Awareness To Muscular Dystrophy
Chris Carrino is the Nets radio play-by-play man here on WFAN and today he joined Boomer and Craig in the Allstate Studio to talk about his battle with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy and raise awareness for the disease.
Carrino, 40 years-old, was diagnosed with FSHD at the age of 23 and just recently went public with his affliction. He has since started the "Chris Carrino Foundation for FSHD" which is dedicated to the effort of eradicating the life-altering effects of FSHD.
While chatting with the guys, Craig made sure Carrino was aware of what a big fan he was -- he even had Chris listen to his play-by-play efforts a couple of years back, when Craig & Boomer filled in for Carrino on a Nets broadcast. They even managed to describe the deuce being dropped...
