B&C Morning Show: Boomer Worries About Lin Burning Out, Knicks Roster Oozes With Talent
After losing Friday night to the New Orleans Hornets, Jeremy Lin and the Knicks rebounded in a big way yesterday afternoon at the Garden against the Dallas Mavericks. Behind Lin's 28 points and 14 assists, the Knickerbockers beat the defending champs 104-97 and 'LINsanity' is alive and well.
In light of all his success, Boomer is starting to worry about the 23-year-old point guard and suggested the Knicks limit his availability for fear of burnout. The Knicks take on the Nets tonight and hope to have Carmelo Anthony back in the lineup when they do so. We also hear that Baron Davis could make his Knicks debut and bolster their already talented roster.
Time Warner & MSG end their squabble, bringing 'LINsanity' to even more households. Craig says it's Lin himself who's singly responsible for the deal getting done.
Speaking of done, the Yankees rid themselves of the enigma that is A.J. Burnett, shipping the right-hander to the Pittsburgh Pirates, thus ending his time with the Bombers.
