B&C Morning Show: Boomer Calls Out His Teammates, Jerry Has Carmelo Audio

Most of the local teams had the night off yesterday, making for a pretty quiet evening in NY sports. However, the Mets finally found some offense as Jason Bay returned to the lineup, and New York beat the Astros 9-1 to avoid a sweep.

The Mets got off to an interesting start, with manager Terry Collins getting tossed 8 pitches into the first inning, but the team responded. David Wright came out of his slump with a home run, a double, and 3 RBIs. Chris Capuano pitched a gem, going 7 innings and allowing 1 run.

Of course the biggest story of the morning is still Carmelo Anthony's comments at Knicks practice yesterday. Carmelo told the media he's excited for playoff action at the Garden, but he needs more help from his teammates. Meanwhile, Amar'e Stoudemire didn't even make it to practice.

Jerry had all the audio from Knicks practice and the Mets' victory. Plus, Craig had some interesting comments from Boomer criticizing his teammates -- and wonders if the Boom is being a little hypocritical.
