B&C Morning Show: Boomer All Sorts Of Fired Up About The Rangers

It was another eventful sports weekend for those in the Tri-State area.  We had the Mets in Philadelphia for a three-game set with the Phillies, the Yankees in the Bronx for their home opener against the Angels - also a three-game series - and the Knicks with a couple of games against the Wizards and the Heat at the Garden.

And oh yeah - the Rangers played Game 2 of their opening round playoff series against the Ottawa Senators, and things got pretty interesting.  After winning Game 1, The Rangers lost  3-2 in OT Saturday night - and the loss did not come without incident.  Carl Hagelin was handed a three-game suspension for his involvement in an altercation and because of that, Boomer was beside himself, calling what has been bestowed upon the Rangers 'an injustice of mammoth proportions.'

Boomer feels that Hagelin and the Rangers are being treated unfairly. And because of his strong feelings, everything else was pushed aside and Boomer's beloved Blueshirts were front-and-center when the guys opened up today's edition of the Morning Extravaganza.

Craig did his best to keep his radio partner from blowing a gasket, but once the Blonde Bomber referenced the 'screw the Rangers button' being pushed by the powers that be, we all knew it was gonna be tough reasoning with the Booms...
