Boomer was surprisingly confident this morning, considering his Rangers find themselves trailing the Senators 3 games to 2, therefore are facing a must-win game Monday night in Ottawa.
Making matters worse for Boomer was his trusty radio partner, whose confidence in the Blueshirts has all but vanished.
So unlike Boomer - although he is certainly pulling for them - Craig is expecting the worst.
Part of Craig's concern lies at the feet of the Rangers head coach, John Tortorella, who he thinks is meddling too much and coaching too tight. Craig reminded Boomer that Torts is no Mike Keenan and the year is not 1994.
Puck drops in Ottawa tonight just after 7 p.m.
Adding to what you might have thought would be Boomer's misery, his adult hockey team - the WASPS - took a bus to Canada, played a bunch of games and got a silver medal for the their efforts. That's a silver medal, not gold - meaning they lost.. Nonetheless, the Blonde Bomber was still in a chipper move, as the Dynamic Radio Duo did their thing on this Monday edition of the Morning Extravaganza...
