Along Came Lin
We had Stoudemire, we
had Fields, to help us win,
we had Douglas playing guard,
but, we didn't have Lin.
We added Anthony
to the roster, just to begin.
Getting Chandler for center,
but, we didn't have Lin.
Shumbert was gotten,
but, no one named Vin.
Jefferies also played,
but there was no Lin.
Other players were tried,
such as Bibby, without sin.
Walker came along,
but there was no Lin.
Other players were added,
but the garden had no din,
Harrellson was also added,
still, there was no Lin.
Balkman was tried
but, we still couldn't win.
Until one day by some
miracle, along came Lin.
