B&C Morning Show: A Mile As The Crow Flies

Jerry "Rello" Recco had no choice but to begin his first update of the morning recapping the Mavericks' astounding comeback over the Heat in South Beach last night -- so that is what he did.

We heard from an enthusiastic Mike Inglis, who calls the games for the Heat. And like everyone else, he too seemed a little stunned by the Mavs' triumphant Game 2.  Craig likes what he has heard from Inglis throughout the Playoffs, but he'd still prefer to hear the great Marv Albert call every sporting event. YES!!!

The Mets had a comeback of their own earlier in the day, as they overcame a 7-run deficit to beat the Pirates.  This just a day after Terry Collins displayed his displeasure both in front of the microphones and reportedly behind closed doors in a players' only meeting.

We also heard that some NFL owners held a private meeting yesterday (that not every owner was welcome at). Boomer thinks he may know he did not receive an invitation.

Former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress is scheduled to be released from prison on Monday and Craig couldn't care less.

At the tail end of Jerry's unbelievable update, Craig offered an oral history of his 94 yesterday on the golf course, during which we were reminded just how old the Blonde Bomber is..
