Barking Boxer 'Bandit' Bungles Bumbling Burglar

A barking boxer named "Bandit" helped bag an alleged burglar in Little Ferry.
On Tuesday, a suspect fleeing from police dove under a wave runner covered with a blue tarp. He picked the wrong yard.
It belongs to police Captain Ronald Klein. Bandit went berserk.
"He's not a normal barker. He just barks when he senses something wrong," Klein told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams. "If he sees someone coming up or he sees someone getting out of a car in front of the house, then he'll start barking, but, generally... you never hear him."
Captain Klein grabbed 23-year-old Byron Highsmith, a convicted burglar suspected in a string of break-ins in surrounding towns.
For Bandit, a pat on the back, a belly scratch, and an extra treat.
"He always gets his bones," Klein said. "Yesterday, I had to give him two or three treats cause I kept going back to the house."
