At Super Bowl Media Day, Madness Is The Norm
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- What do you get when you combine Ines Sainz, a Tom Brady lookalike and some sort of faux superhero?
Super Bowl Media Day.
For the first time, fans were able to buy tickets to the pre-game spectacle. And they came out in the thousands ahead of Sunday's matchup between the Giants and New England Patriots.
WFAN's Paul Dottino described the crowd as "pro-Giants," thanks in part to the admiration in Indianapolis for all things Manning.

Though the big game usually takes a back seat to the costumes and fanfare, some news did come out of the circus-like atmosphere at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, uncertain for New England with a high ankle sprain, arrived without a protective boot for his interview session.
"I'm day by day, I don't know what's going to happen," Gronkowski said on Tuesday. "I'm just day by day, enjoying my time here, getting better, focusing on working hard just to get out there."
Added Tom Brady: "He's making progress. He's out of his boot, which makes me feel better."
Giants players were active on Twitter for the second straight day, posting numerous locker room photos prior to taking the field shortly after noon.
Antrel Rolle hasn't wavered in his confidence all season long. Tuesday was no different.
"We're not going to be denied at this point," the outspoken Giants safety said.
As for his favorite Madonna song?
"Like a Virgin," Rolle admitted. The Material Girl is slated to headline this year's Super Bowl halftime show.
Football and Madonna. That's Media Day in a nutshell.
