At Least One Dead Following Latest Shooting In Brooklyn
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- More blood has been shed in Brooklyn, a shooting in Canarsie left one dead another injured on Sunday.
The victims lift a party on East 48th Street near Flatlands Ave and were cut down by a drive-by shooter around 2:40 a.m. according to police.
A thirty year-old man was hit in the torso and pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital, the other a thirty-one-year-old man is recovering from a wound to the tors.
Police are still seeking a motive for the shooting, it remains unclear if the men were targeted.
This shooting comes on the heels of a pair of incidents in Brooklyn in which shop owners were targeted in their stores, and a drive by shooting in Brownsville that left six people wounded including a two-year-old girl.
