Arrests Made In Connection With Shooting Death Of Newark College Student
NEWARK, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- Authorities have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a Newark college student.
Early on the morning of December 21, Reginald Terry, 18, was shot and killed at a party near 260 Washington Street in Newark.
A second person was shot but sustained non-life threatening injuries, the Essex County Prosecutors Office announced.
On Tuesday, Damiar Pendergrass, 18, of Newark was arrested at an Irvington residence in connection with Terry's death. A second suspect, Raquan Langford, 19, was also arrested in Newark.
Both men have been charged with murder, conspiracy, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Bail for both men has been set at $750,000.
