Arrest Made In Newark Shooting That Left 1 Dead, 2 Injured
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting that left a woman dead and two men wounded in Newark last month.
Stephon Harris, 22, of Newark was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, second degree aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offenses in the May 29 incident, prosecutors said.
Laqueebah Murray, 29, of Newark was killed in the shooting near 78 North Munn Avenue, officials said.
Two men were also shot but survived, officials said.
Bail has been set at $1 million.
