NYPD: Suspects Tied Up, Robbed Victim In Armed Home Invasion
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for suspects who allegedly robbed an 87-year-old woman and tied up a 21-year-old man in an armed home invasion in Manhattan.
According to police, two suspects pushed their way into a home on West 164th Street in Washington Heights at around 7:50 p.m. on March 30. Once inside, one suspect hit the 21-year-old victim in the head with a firearm and tied him up before leaving the scene with cash, police said.
One suspect is described by police as six feet tall and weighing 250 pounds. The second suspect is described as 5'7" and weighing 180 pounds. Police say both suspects are believed to be in their 20s.
