Aretha Franklin To Perform Free Concert On Coney Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Aretha Franklin will be performing tonight in a free concert on Coney Island.
It's all part of the 33rd Annual Seaside Summer Concert Series. The Queen of Soul will be singing songs from her latest album "A Woman Falling Out of Love" plus some of her greatest hits like "Freeway of Love."
The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at West 21st Street and Surf Avenue on Coney Island next to the Brooklyn Cyclones.
The public is encouraged to bring their own chairs, but a limited number of chairs are available to rent for $5.
