Antrel Rolle: Giants Full Of 'Fight,' Ready To Rumble At Lambeau
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- After a tough loss to the Packers last month, safety Antrel Rolle predicted his Giants would meet Green Bay again in the playoffs.
He was spot on.
The Giants and Packers will tussle again on Sunday, this time at Lambeau Field.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers torched the Giants for 449 yards and four touchdowns on Dec. 4. But according to Rolle, that 38-35 defeat means zilch.
"That game means absolutely nothing at this point," Rolle told WFAN's Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts Tuesday. "This is the playoffs. Our record right now in the playoffs? 1-0.
"That's what we're looking at and that's the approach we're gonna take. We're coming in, you know, we're coming in and we're fighting. We're gonna fight from the time that whistle blows ... and may the best man win."

Speaking of quarterbacks, it was up to Eli Manning to keep the Giants afloat through much of the season.
The success must be contagious.
New York's defense has come alive over the past four weeks. The Falcons were able to muster only two points against Big Blue in Sunday's playoff matchup -- and that score came on a Manning safety.
"I see that fight in Eli, I see that fight in our entire team," said Rolle. "And we want it. That's the thing about it. We're all in, we're all on deck and we want it."
Rolle wouldn't go the Jason Pierre-Paul route and lock up a win against the 15-1 Packers. But Mr. Prediction himself was willing to give a different sort of guarantee.

"I will guarantee we're gonna go out there and be the best fighting Giants that we can be come Sunday," Rolle said. "And that's the only guarantee you're gonna get from me."
