Anthony And Wallace Out For Knicks, Copeland Starts
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Carmelo Anthony will miss tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a sprained left ankle.
Anthony suffered the injury in the Knicks' Thursday night victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. He collided with Dwight Howard in the third quarter and did not return. The Knicks struggled without Anthony to finish the game. Los Angeles rallied late in a game where the Knicks led by wide advantages.
Rasheed Wallace also misses out due to a sore foot. The injury is considered to be day-to-day.
Rookie Chris Copeland starts in Anthony's place at power forward.
