American Airlines Offering Non-Binary Gender Booking Options For Passengers
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - American Airlines has started offering new non-binary gender options for booking flights.
Instead of being required to declare themselves male or female, customers will be able to choose either "undisclosed" or "unspecified" when booking a flight over the phone instead of only "male" and "female."
The system will soon be extended to reservations booked online as well.
United has a similar system in place.
