Amber Alert Issued For Abducted Upstate NY Boy
ELMIRA, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities in an upstate city have issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old boy who police say has been abducted by an acquaintance of the child's mother.
Police in Elmira tell media outlets that Jacob Ryan Rubin Davila was taken from a home around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday by a man named Chris. Police don't know his last name, but say he's black, approximately 30 years old and about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.
Police said he was last seen in a stolen red, four-door Dodge Intrepid with the New York license plate FEV-3631.
Officials said Jacob is Hispanic, about 3 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan and green jacket, tan cargo pants and white sneakers.
Authorities said the man may have ties to the Buffalo area.
