Video: Deer Caught In Seal Tank At Norwalk Maritime Aquarium
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A deer made quite a splash at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium Tuesday.
As seals frolicked in their tank, a not-so-common sight appeared to the astonishment of onlookers: A deer.
Aquarium employees attempted to capture the deer with a net. That didn't work, so they placed a ramp in the water.
About 30 minutes later, the deer successfully climbed out of the tank. The deer was not injured, nor were any seals, in the rescue attempt.
Aquarium officials think the deer swam across the river to get to the aquarium.
Tourists captured most of the rescue attempt on video and posted it to YouTube.
