Alternate-Side Parking To Resume Monday In Hoboken
HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Enforcement of alternate side parking rules will resume in Hoboken Monday morning, as the city works to clear away snow from parking lanes.
Alternate side of the street parking had been suspended in Hoboken to facilitate snow removal after the blizzard late Friday and early Saturday.
Vehicles may also resume parking along emergency snow routes, Hoboken city officials said. Parking rules, including meters, are in effect.
The regular recycling and garbage pickup schedule is also in effect, and pickup was to take place on Sunday night, the city said.
In New York City, alternate-side parking will remain suspended Monday so plows can get through easily. As previously scheduled, alternate side parking will be suspended on Tuesday and Wednesday for Lincoln's birthday and the Ash Wednesday holiday, respectively, in New York City.
Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the city on these days, New York City officials announced.
