16-Year-Old Girl From New Jersey Gearing Up For US Open
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – There's a local tennis star to watch in this year's US Open.
She's from Summit, New Jersey and she's just 16 years old.
Last month, Alexa Noel made it all the way to the junior finals at Wimbledon.
Starting tomorrow, she'll be playing in the women's main draw doubles, and then again in the juniors tournament.
