Alan Jackson's Luxury Retreat Up For Grabs, Just $5 Million
Country icon Alan Jackson is becoming quite the real estate man. He has sold a few homes over the years, including his Williamson County estate in Franklin, Tennessee and his Jupiter Island home. Now his lakefront property near Smithville, Tennessee is also up for grabs.
Included in this 3.6-acre, gated property is a five-bedroom mansion spanning over 6,100 square feet. It includes four bedrooms, a state-of-the-art movie theater, a pool, and a four-bedroom guesthouse. The property is also situated right on the peninsula of Center Hill Lake, according to the real estate listing. If you're curious you can see pictures of this amazing property.
Jackson is sweetening the deal on this home, too. In addition to the house and guesthouse, the lucky buyer will also enjoy Jackson’s very own luxurious, two-story houseboat, which is outfitted with a hot tub and water slides.
This dream home sounds too good to be true, so why would Jackson want to sell?
“We’ve enjoyed our lake house for 20 years,” said Jackson according to a press release. “Now that my three daughters have gotten older, we don’t find as many opportunities to use the property as a family. After my wife’s successful battle against cancer last year, we are also re-evaluating our plans for the future. Selling the house fits those plans.”
Jackson also has plans that include all of his fans. He’s still on the road touring and his next stop is Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Fayetteville, Arkansas. To see where the singer is headed next, click here.
