Adolf Hitler's Desk Set Up For Auction In Connecticut

The piece most everyone will likely want to see at the auction is a desk set that belonged to Adolf Hitler.
Bill Panagopulos, owner of Alexander Autographs, says this is the set used in 1938 for the signing of the Munich Pact. He says it's made of brass and it's big, bold, and there is nothing like it.
"It's a very ostentatious piece. It would occupy about a third of anybody's typical office desk. It's a massive thing probably meant to impress, and to intimidate," he told WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau.
It has Hitler's initials, a swastika, ink wells and a huge blotter.
The set was claimed and mailed back to the United States by an Army lieutenant from Texas just after Hitler's death in 1945.
The set is expected to sell upwards for around $750,000.
