Accident Causes Major Delays On Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway has reopened following an accident involving a tractor-trailer during the peak of the morning commute.

All eastbound lanes were closed down at 8:20 a.m. between Cadman Plaza and the Brooklyn Bridge. Traffic started moving again around 10 :10 a.m. after the overturned tractor-trailer and debris were cleared from the road.
1010 WINS reports motorists had exited their vehicles at the height of the traffic mess to determine the cause of the back-up.
