AAA: More Relief Seen At Gas Pump, But Prices Could Rise Soon
SAYREVILLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Gas prices continue to drop in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey on Friday was $3.48, down four cents from last week and 12 cents compared to last month.
The current average price in the Garden State is also lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.63.

This marks the fourth straight week that pump prices have fallen in New Jersey.
"I usually drive approximately 30 miles to and from work," a driver named Laura told WCBS 880's Monica Miller. "The alternative would be to take the train, which you know, it's not like in New York where it's as accommodating."
The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.54, also down four cents over the past week.
Drivers in New York and Connecticut have also seen a downward trend in gas prices.
However, analysts warn that gas prices could rise in coming weeks, citing rising tensions in the Middle East and an expected rise in demand as the summer travel season comes to an end.
