Hawk On WFAN: Making Super Bowl Isn't Enough
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk joined Joe & Evan on Wednesday morning, and according the play-maker, Green Bay isn't satisfied with just making it to the Super Bowl.
"I'm honored to actually be a part of this," said Hawk. "But you can't just be happy to get here, we came here to win the game."
Hawk said he feels right at home with the icy weather that threatened to derail Super Bowl festivities on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"It feels like we haven't even left," Hawk said. "The thing about it is, down here, they don't have the plow trucks and the salt like they do in Green Bay. So, this stuff, the ice, its staying on the highways, that's for sure."
