1010 WINS: 98 Degrees Gets Nostalgic, Talks Future Ahead Of MY2K Tour
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It was a trip down memory lane for celebrated boy band 98 Degrees, who made a special appearance live with 1010 WINS' Rebecca Granet Thursday afternoon.
During the interview, the group spoke of humble beginnings, bad band names, tattoos and, of course, their upcoming tour after a nearly a decade of being out of the spotlight.
"You go through so much together that there's a bond there that can never be broken," Nick Lachey said.
The group is slated to headline the upcoming MY2K tour alongside other 90s pop sensations O-Town, Ryan Cabrera and Dream.
The group said the upcoming tour will give the members a chance to reconnect with their fans and together as a group.
"A time to get back together and start writing again," Drew Lachey said.
But will there be more music? The group said only time will tell.
The MY2K tour kicks off on July 8 in Park City, Kansas and will touch down in the Tri-State in August, with performances at Foxwoods Resort and Casino (8/5), Six Flags Great Adventure (8/7), Theater At Westbury (8/11), Atlantic City (8/17) and the Coney Island Amphitheater (8/17.)
