Kashif Parvaiz Heard Panicking, Shouting On 911 Call Moments After Wife Killed In Boonton
BOONTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A chilling 911 call was released Wednesday in the killing that shocked a quiet New Jersey suburb.
Nazish Noorani was gunned down while walking near Cedar Street in Boonton with her husband, Kashif Pervaiz, and their young son.
Parvaiz, who is now charged in the killing, sounds panicked and is at times inaudible as he gasps and shouts into the phone at the dispatcher, just moments after his wife was shot dead.

Kashif Parvaiz: "Hello? Hello? Can someone hear me? I just got shot in my leg, and my wife got shot. I'm bleeding…Can you send an ambulance?"
911 Operator: "I am having a hard time understanding you, where are you?"
The audio is being released as Noorani's family prepares to go to court next week to fight for custody of the little boy, who is now with Parvaiz's family.
"Still like in shock, sometimes I don't believe that my sister died already. You know, so still getting through it," the victim's brother, Kaleem Nourani told CBS 2's Christine Sloan.
Noorani and Parvaiz were shot on Aug. 16 as they walked on a residential street in her parents' Boonton neighborhood with their three-year-old child in a stroller. The child was not hurt.
Parvaiz sustained gunshot wounds to the shoulder and foot. Noorani, who was shot multiple times in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parvaiz had originally told police that his family was attacked by a group of three men shouting slurs about "terrorists" but investigators quickly turned their attention to him and another woman, 27-year-old Antoinette Stephen.
Police said Parvaiz, 26, and Stephen teamed up to get Noorani out of the picture. Stephen is accused of shooting Noorani four times and then wounding Parvaiz to cover up the crime.
Prosecutors say Parvaiz and Stephen plotted the twisted murder. Parvaiz' attorney, though, says his client is innocent and a victim shot by Stephen, Sloan reported.
Other calls came in quickly as gunfire erupted that night. Local police departments received 22 emergency calls regarding the shooting.
Neighbor: "I hear somebody yell for help out there and I swore it was fireworks, but it must have been gunshots, I don't know."
The alleged murder weapon was found in Parvaiz's SUV and prosecutors said the man eventually broke down and confessed to the killing.
Text messages connected Stephen to the crime.
Both have been charged with murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses. Parvaiz also faces child-endangerment charges.
Months before she was killed, family members have said Noorani suspected her husband was having an affair with Stephen.
An arrest affidavit also quoted a text message from Noorani to her brother that said, "Someday u will find me dead but its cuz of kashi … He wants to kill me."
Parvaiz, originally from Brooklyn, is being held on $3 million bail; Stephen, of Billerica, Mass., remains jailed on $5 million bail.
