7 Hurt After Bus, Car Collide On Long Island
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Four preschool children and three adults suffered minor injuries when a mini-school-bus and a passenger car collided in Hempstead.
Police Sgt. Kevin Colgan says the accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Baldwin Road and Windsor Parkway.
The only four students on the bus, as well as both drivers, were taken to a nearby hospital.
A third adult at the scene suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
Police did not know the name of the preschool where the children were headed.
No tickets were issued.
