7-Alarm Blaze At Vacant Factory In Brooklyn Under Control
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A seven-alarm fire at a vacant building in Brooklyn is finally under control.
It took 200 firefighters and 54 units more than 15 hours to battle the blaze at the old commercial building on Atlantic Street in Cypress Hills.
Seven firefighters were injured. Four were treated on the scene and three were taken to an area hospital.
Officials said the building used to be a food processing plant.
