5/7 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good afternoon, everyone! We're FINALLY seeing the light at the end of this pesky low that has been plaguing us all week. Still lots of clouds and a few showers out there today, but some breaks of sun too and temps in the low 60s.
Overnight and into tomorrow morning will be the real kicker... literally! A cold front moving down from the Great Lakes will help bump this system out to sea. We'll see one final round of showers between 6-10 AM tomorrow morning. But then skies clear behind the front and the sun will return for Mother's Day afternoon! Highs will top out right around normal in the upper 60s.
Monday is looking fantastic with a mix of sun and clouds and temps jumping into the low 70s. After that, Tuesday will feature more clouds and Wednesday will see another round of showers and maybe a rumble or two.
