NYC's Best Restaurants For Passover Dinner

Passover begins on April 10 and is observed till April 18While the traditional dinner known as a seder is celebrated at home, families can also opt for a seder at a restaurant. A staple in NoHo for over 15 years, Vic's brings the flair of Italy and the Mediterranean coast to the area. On the fifth night of Passover, the restaurant hosts their annual seder with dishes inspired by Hamishi dinners, which were meals served during the Spanish Inquisition.

One of Manhattan's premier kosher restaurant is serving Passover dishes to make the holiday stress-free. This year, La Marais is offering takeout options for seder plates and is open for reservations. In honor of the holiday, the restaurant launched a special menu with a large selection of dishes, including braised beef in red wine, roasted chicken and steak.  There will also be a special option for $29, which comes with steak, roasted potatoes and salad.

Manhattan glamour and exquisite cuisine collide at Maxwell's Chophouse.  The NoMad restaurant is offering Passover specials on April 10 and 11. New Yorkers can have a stress-free meal with family and enjoy favorite dishes, including matzo ball soup, glazed carrots, chopped liver, brisket and homemade rugelach. All of the dishes are made from family recipes crafted by the owners.

Nestled on the fourth floor of the Yotel in Hell's Kitchen is Green Fig, a modern Israeli restaurant serving bold and flavorful dishes inspired by the Middle East. Throughout the eight days of Passover, the restaurant will serve special Matzo-crusted Lamb Chops, which are coated in honey and matzo crumbs before being roasted in the oven. People that are looking to have a Passover brunch can also try an order of their Fried Stuffed Matzo, which will be available on April 15 and 16.

Acclaimed Chef David Bouley brings an elevated taste to a Passover Seder on April 11. The Bouley Seder focuses on the celebration of freedom and liberation and the traditional haggadah is guided by a Jewish thought leader. People will start their evening with a small reception full of passed canapes and klezmer music, which is followed by a multi-course dinner. The meal is complemented with kosher wine.

Passover options at this American Chinese food restaurant helmed by Jonathan Wu include sweet potato lo mein kuegel, charoset, matzoh and more.  Passover specials will be available from April 11-18.
