4-Alarm Fire Sweeps Through Financial District Building
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An extra-alarm fire ripped through a building in the Financial District Sunday morning, according to published reports.
The fire broke out shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday in the building on Fulton Street, close to Nassau Street, according to a DNAInfo report.
The fire swept through the second and third floors of the building, and was ultimately upgraded to a four-alarm blaze. The third-floor ceiling partially collapsed as firefighters fought the blaze, the publication reported.
There were no civilian injuries, but three firefighters suffered minor injuries and were hospitalized, the publication reported.
