30 With Murti Podcast: White Sox Manager Robin Ventura
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Robin Ventura went from being one of the best college baseball players ever to becoming one of the majors' best two-way third basemen of the 1990s.
While he played for both the Mets and the Yankees at the height of the Subway Series rivalry in the late '90s and early 2000s, Ventura, who celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday, made his name as a player with the White Sox and has been their manager since 2012.
Ventura has shared clubhouses with some of the greatest athletes of our time, including Bo Jackson and Michael Jordan. He was also teammates with one of this year's Hall of Fame inductees, Mike Piazza.
Ventura talks about those experiences and more in the latest "30 With Murti" brought to you by NYY Steak, The New York Yankees Steakhouse at 7 West 51st St. in Midtown Manhattan.
