As WCBS 880's Alex Silverman reported, the 35-year-old victim told police she had never met the three attackers before.
After receiving treatment at Bellevue Hospital Center, the victim returned to the hotel and spotted the suspects, Silverman reported. The victim chased after the suspects' car all the way to the Lincoln Tunnel, where she flagged down a Port Authority police officer, Silverman reported.
The three women -- identified as Monique Boakye-Yiadom, 35; Aleesha Williams, 26; and Amy Walker, 30 -- are charged with assault, gang assault and weapon possession. All are from Ontario, Canada.
A spokesman for the Starwood hotel chain said he could not comment on an ongoing police investigation.
It wasn't known if the women had attorneys who could comment on the charges.
